- Three stepper motors, one servo
- Custom gearbox and drivetrain
- Custom Styrene flexures for pen mounting
- Kinematically robust housing and frame
- PIC microcontrollers used for remote controlls and for stepper motor driving
- E128 used to controll behavior of Spiro-Graph.
